QR Codes: Unlocking the Power of Print
Presenter: John Lill, Consultant, Multichannel Marketing, Quad/Graphics

You’ve been hearing about them. Now you’re starting to see them wherever you look. Many marketers and publishers are using Quick Response (QR) codes to engage their target consumers and readers. By scanning a QR code with the camera of a smartphone, consumers take the first step to interact with your brand – wherever they may be. But are they effective?

John Lill, a multichannel marketing consultant with Quad/Graphics, is a veteran direct marketer who has been involved with many direct response technologies that have improved the power of print. Join John as he presents an overview of QR Codes: what are they, how they work, and what is possible. He will provide some mobile marketing trends, adoption rates and best practices and will review some examples of brands that are using QR codes in both fundamental as well as unique ways.

You will learn how…

 Quick Response (QR) codes allow for lots of new ways to embed content, drive calls to action, and unlock the power of the printed page
 QR codes can be tracked
 QR Codes can be created for better readability
 QR codes can fit every publisher or marketer’s need – from simple static codes that can be generated in moments for little to no cost, to sophisticated 1-to-1 codes that unlock the power of data and personalization.
 QR code campaigns can be employed for strategic analysis and maximum results.
