The recently released 2017 Digital Outlook Report found 62% of the nonprofits and charities surveyed have no digital program. Creating Organizational Alignment for Digital Success. How do ensure you’ve got the right staff, skills, structure, culture and technology to succeed in the digital marketing and fundraising space. This session will lay the groundwork!

09:30-10:15 AMSecond Session
Customer Experience (CX), Journey Mapping and Persona Development. To create a truly donor-centric approach to digital marketing and fundraising, this session will walk through how you create persona driven conversion funnels to find donors, event participants, advocates, and volunteers at a lower cost than you would believe.

10:15-10:30 AMRefreshment Break

10:30-11:15 AMThird Session
Putting It All Together. This final session will walk you through amazing case studies that show when you:

  • get your organization prepared and aligned,
  • get your personas developed and conversion funnels ready, and
  • execute it all in A SMART MARKETING approach to digital marketing and fundraising, you succeed in the 21st century.

Michael Johnston, President and Founder, Hewitt and Johnston Consultants

Michael Johnston is the President and founder of the global fundraising consultancy, Hewitt and Johnston Consultants. He has been a fundraiser for 30 years, and has worked with 100’s of nonprofit organizations in Canada, the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Mike is an expert in fundraising innovation and integrated marketing – most especially how new technologies best combine with traditional ways of giving: planned giving, events, major gifts, and annual campaigns. Mike was a founding Board Member of the Washington-based e-Philanthropy Foundation, and was its first chair of its Education Committee. He is also the founding Chair of the Integrated Marketing Advisory Board, a collection of 12 of leading fundraising agencies and related industry associations working hard to help charities do a better job of integrated marketing.
