Need a competitive edge in today's tough market…want to have your agency or company stand out among all the others? Enter the DMAW MAXI Award competition, winning allows you to demonstrate to your prospective and current clients, that you produce award-winning, results-oriented campaigns! More than just a contest for cute art or design, this is a competition for real direct response professionals who know that winning only comes to those who get results.  The annual MAXI Award competition is open to DMAW members and nonmembers. All entries are judged anonymously by practicing direct marketers - including a panel of out-of-town judges - to ensure that all entries receive an equal chance of winning based on established criteria. Since entries do not compete head-to-head, a small agency/firm is as likely to win as a national firm.  All that's standing between you and winning your MAXI is entering the competition. Here is what you do…

 

First, you need to know (especially if you have entered the MAXIs in the past) – we have NEW ENTRY FORMS!

 

The MAXIs has a new entry process with new entry forms.  Now you select the form by your campaign’s channel.  There is an entry form for:

  • Direct Mail Commercial
  • Direct Mail Non-Commercial
  • Telemarketing – Non-Commercial
  • Online/Interactive Campaigns
  • Multi-Channel Campaigns – Non-Commercial
  • Workhorse (Additionally for the Workhorse entry form, you must also complete one of the above forms for your 2009 Workhorse numbers.)

Also all of our entry forms are form fill-ins that can be filled in on your computer, saved and printed!

 

So here is what you do to enter….

 

Step 1 - Read the rules!

 

Download the DMAW MAXI Rules and read them carefully - you don't want to inadvertently disqualify your entry!

 

Step 2 - Complete an Application Form for each submission

 

Download the DMAW MAXI Application Form and complete it for your submission - we need to know who you are!

 

Step 3 - From one of SIX entry forms, select and download, the appropriate form!  Remember, if you are using the Multi-Channel entry form, you must also complete the Direct Mail or Telemarketing form as well if those media were used.

Step 4- Complete the application and appropriate entry forms; SEND them with 3 samples of your campaign (see Rules for details) along with proper payment by April 15, 2010 to:

MAXI AWARDS CEREMONY

 

Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards will be presented at the MAXI Awards Ceremony, Monday, July 26, at the Gaylord National Hotel & Conference Center. As a winner you will be presented with an award engraved with words that mean a great deal to professionals in our industry: "In Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in Direct Marketing."

 

If the judges view your winning campaign as a BIG IDEA - meaning it scored high in results and was truly a successful campaign with strong creative, then you will be recognized again!

 

Your winning work(s!) will be published in our annual MAXI award book. Furthermore, during the 5th Annual Bridge to Integrated Marketing and Fundraising Conference, your award winning campaign will be showcased in front of thousands of top direct marketing professionals gathered to honor and learn from the best talent in our industry. We look forward to receiving your awarding-winning campaigns and meeting you at the awards ceremony!
