Member Recognition Award
Volunteers are the heart and soul of many organizations, and the Direct Marketing Association of Washington is no exception. Our volunteers are crucial to the success of our events and several of our daily operations.
Each year DMAW recognizes a DMAW member for their dedicated and voluntary efforts to support the organization and its programs:
Rising Star Award: Recognizes a young person with promise who has no fewer than 3 years in the industry.
Partner of the Year: Recognizes a supplier company that supports the DMAW mission
Volunteer of the Year: Recognizes an individual’s dedication and voluntary efforts to support DMAW
Industry All Star Award: This award recognizes a professional as the “best in our industry!” It honors behavior that should be recognized and repeated throughout the industry – serving as a role model in the direct marketing industry.
Award recipients are recognized at the Best of Direct Gala, a fantastic recognition award event, as well as a great kick-off party for the holiday season!
At the Best of Direct, DMAW’s Hall of Leaders award is also presented — our association’s highest honor. The origins of this award go back to the very beginning of the association and and have included such industry greats as Hal Malchow (2013), Richard Viguerie (1972) and Austin Kiplinger (1987). Previously known as the Professional Man of the Year, Professional of the Year and the Award for Distinguished Achievement, the award was renamed in 2014 to acknowledge the breadth and depth of luminaries that have been honored.
We are now accepting nominations for the 2018 Hall of Leaders Award recipient. Any member of DMAW can nominate a candidate for this award. No caucuses, no primary.
