Wake Up & Learn: Breakfast with Carol Rhine
2017 Brought huge shifts in charitable giving. Carol Rhine, Principal Fundraising Analyst at Target Analytics will provide a review of industry indices and reports revealing the state of our industry sector and what we can expect for the future.
Using data from the Target Analytic donorCentrics Index of Direct Marketing, Carol will dive into the shifts in charitable giving experienced in 2017. She will review and evaluate significant multi-year metrics such as donor acquisition, retention, and revenue per donor by nonprofit sector.
You will gain valuable insight that could inform the direction of your direct response programs, and help you interpret your donors’ behavior. Highlights include:
- The new donors acquired in 2017 were significantly younger than in prior years
- Not all sectors experienced increased giving — see how your sector compares
- 2017 was the first year since 2005 that the Index participants saw donor growth and new donor increases
