Who wants $8 Trillion Dollars?

I honestly can’t think of a nonprofit organization in the world that would say no to that question. But the sad truth is, many organizations are still forgoing significant revenue because of their failure to invest in marketing planned gifts.

An estimated $8 trillion is expected to pass to charities over the next 25 years through planned gifts. And if your organization is not talking with your donors about this, you can bet another organization is.

Quite simply, you can’t afford to ignore this potentially transformational source of revenue!

While the planned giving function has traditionally been aligned more closely with major gifts, direct marketers have a huge role to play in getting the message out to donors. Because many large planned come not from major donors, but from donors who have given small amounts to a charity for many years.

You need marketers, not lawyers, to grow your planned giving program. While planned giving is often shrouded in a confusing array of legal acronyms, the vast majority of planned gifts are easily arranged. And most planned gifts are motivated by a strong passion for your mission.

On April 29th, join Meg Roberts, CFRE of Impact Communications and Ann Kolakowski, CAP®of The Humane Society of the United States to learn how you can be a hero in your organization. They will show you how to use direct marketing to motivate more of you donors to leave a lasting gift.
