Data Strategy Forum Brings List Community Under One Roof

Data Strategy Seminar Graphic

On May 9th, list professionals will be convening once again, but instead of heading to the List Bazaar, they are all coming down for the new and improved Data Strategy Forum.

The name change reflects the changes in the industry. Certainly, for a long time now, we have been working with more than just mailing lists.

What we now deal with is information, otherwise known as data.

The Data Strategy Forum will address all types of data. The attendees are a nice mix of brokers, managers, agencies, co-ops and mailers. With the name change and the expanded focus, our audience should be larger and more diverse than ever before.

For the list community, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to network with your clients, peers and future business connections. And with this year’s line of speakers, there’s also ample opportunity to pick up the latest trends and techniques in the industry.

Our keynote speaker this year is Founder and CEO of Venture Center Charlie Stryker, a leading provider of data strategy and data sourcing. Stryker’s company trades in “Big Data” techniques.

Big Data is much more than a buzzword these days. It is part of the ever-improving way we can reach our target audience. Other topics to be covered include Machine Learning, The Unique Value of Lists and The Direct/Digital Dance.

I am particularly excited to see the session on political campaigns as its featured speakers are Richard Viguerie of ConservativeHQ.com and Roger Craver of The Agitator, Donor aTrends and DonorVoice. Viguerie is recognized as a pioneer in the use of direct marketing in political campaigns and will be representing the conservative side. Craver just may take the opposite view, which is why this is a session you won’t want to miss.

The Data Strategy Forum will have plenty of networking time, my favorite part of the event. You will see your clients and have the opportunity to make new ones.

The schedules call for a progressive lunch, which gives everyone the opportunity to sit at 3 different tables—one for each course. So come hungry and ready to mingle; you will have plenty of networking time, my favorite part of the event. You will see your clients and have the opportunity to make new ones.

If you deal with data, this is your show. Don’t miss it; sign up now to attend the Data Strategy Forum this year on May 9th in Crystal City, VA.
